Alberto Zaffaroni is currently responsible for the Product Management of Sustainable and Differentiated Products within the Base Chemicals and Polyethylene Business Unit at Versalis (Eni Group).
Based in Milan, he holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University. He has also gained international experience as an exchange student at Boston University and University College of Dublin.
Alberto began his professional career in the field of antitrust and competition policy between Brussels, Berlin and Milan, working for the DG Competition – European Commission and private economic consulting firms.
Leveraging on his expertise in market and economic analysis, in 2019 Alberto joined Versalis as Marketing Intelligence Specialist for the Polyethylene business unit.
Since 2020 he has been working as Product Manager, leading an expanding portfolio and actively contributing to the market development of Versalis’ sustainable product offerings.
Since 2021 he represents Versalis in the Polyolefins Group of Plastics Europe and has been actively engaged in initiatives for PCEP.
