Volker Glöckner

Volker has over 10 years of experience in professional and voluntary work in the environmental NGO sector. After completing his degree in biology and his PhD in marine ecology, he worked for one of Germany's largest environmental and nature conservation associations in the field of public relations and marketing. Always following his conviction that we can only save the environment, the climate, and ultimately ourselves if we finally start working together to reduce our CO2 footprint.
In order to take the circular economy of plastic packaging to the next level, Volker joined ALPLA in 2022 as a Public Affairs & Circular Economy Specialist. ALPLA is one of the world's leading companies in the development and manufacturing of innovative plastic packaging solutions, as well as an expanding recycling company.
