A successful product engineer with 40+ years’ experience, supported by a proven design and project management record in multi-cultural business environments having also held many product design, engineering and product management roles within international engineering businesses with experience in the design, development, testing and introduction of global plastic products solutions.
Educated in engineering and Industrial Management and working closely with customers, suppliers and cross-functional collaborations whilst meeting agreed quality, cost, and technical performance requirements.
Malcolm joined CHEP in 2017 as a product design engineer and for the past 3 years has seen increased exposure to circular economy projects developing strategies and adapting products and materials that support their successful implementation.
As pioneers of the sharing economy, CHEP created one of the world's most sustainable logistics businesses through the share and reuse of its platforms under a model known as ‘pooling’. CHEP primarily serves the fast-moving consumer goods, dry and fresh produce, beverage, retail, and general manufacturing industries. Malcolm is excited to collaborate with all stakeholders to adapt where possible this knowledge in the use of recycled plastics in these applications.
